It is an authentic Korean cuisine restaurant hidden away under the Triad Apartments. I have lived in Amherst for the past two years and I have never seen it before. I visited the placed with a friend and I had a hantastic time.
The lunch menu was relatively cheap ($7~9) with all the side dishes that come with it. According to my friend, the owner changed. The new owners, wife and husband, greeted us in the most delightful way. The service was quick, the ambiance is family friendly, and the prices were affordable.
I ordered the soondoobu (soft tofu) soup, which I adjusted to "spicy". There's meat, seafood, and kimchi versions. I picked the seafood, which was extremely good. White rice comes with it, too! My friend ordered the Spicy Chicken soup (dak dori tang)with potatoes. I have never tasted such a thing! it was sweet and spicy.
Next time i will try the meat dishes: Kalbi & bulgogi. both, hopefully very yummy!
I also couldn't help but notice their alcohol menu. It had an array of beers and Korean liquor. That's for next time!
